MLB Jr Home Run Derby is back!
Join in the fun!
In partnership with Major League Baseball, we will be hosting a Jr. Home Run Derby (Jr. HRD)
This is an event series baseball players - ages 9-14 - to showcase their hitting skills, compete against their peers, and earn a spot at the National Finals,which take place during the 2022 MLB All-Star Week.PARTICIPANTS & ELIGIBILITY
• Jr.HRD™ is FREE for participants and hosting organizations
• Boys and girls are welcome to participate in one of the age 2 groups: 12U & 14U
• Age is determined as of July 20, 2022, and must be verified prior to participating
• Participants must have their parent or guardian REGISTER ONLINE. Athletes who are not registered through this platform will not be permitted to participate
QUALIFICATION
• The winners from each age division will be submitted and put into a pool with other
winners from their region - the top performers in each age division/sport will be selected
to advance to the Regional Qualifier Location: TBD)
• One winner from each age division at each of the eight (8) Regional Qualifiers will qualify
for the National Finals
• Those who qualify for the National Finals will get an all-expenses paid trip for the
winner and one guardian to attend the Jr. Home Run Derby National Finals during
Major League Baseball All-Star Week!
