National Volunteer Week
This is National Volunteer Week and it is a perfect time to thank the volunteers who have helped shape the Kingston Baseball Association into a special baseball family for over 75 years. Don’t minimize, or take for granted, the impact that you, and the thousands of Little League board members, coaches and umpires like you around the world, have on your players throughout each season. Your willingness to see everyone equally and treat them with respect goes well beyond their ability to hit, run, or throw. We realize it’s not easy to volunteer your time, but you have taken on those challenges and rewarded our youth by creating a safe space to share fun experiences, learn sportsmanship and create life long memories and friendships.
Our baseball club would not be possible without you! Let's take a moment of our time to share a story or picture of someone within the KBA past or present who is a true champion of Little League baseball.
We will get it started with a story of a long time board member, coach and the first recipient of our "Doug Jeffries Award" Steve Vallier. Read the story here!
